Today we’d like to introduce you to Paul Thomas.
Hi Paul, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I’m 19 years old and lost my mother at 17 due to Covid and we did been through some of the worst struggles like living in hotels and getting evicted because of another person’s problem.
Growing up watching my momma cry and going through the stages she went through is what made me look at life differently. I lost my momma and it changed me completely.
I thought of suicide every day but music is what stopped me and my siblings are what gave me a reason to live so that’s how I got to where I am now music!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Living in a hotel, sleepless nights, watching momma cry because of the bills, and trying to achieve my dreams but ain’t have no money to do so.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Music I sing & rap.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
I want to find a mentor I haven’t worked with anybody like I’m still an upcoming artist who hasn’t been heard yet and I feel it’s time I will be heard.
