Today we’d like to introduce you to Renne Elayne
Hi Renne, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Who I am today really depicts on what happened in the past. As a young entrepreneur who is trying to make living for myself, it’s very difficult to put alot of things in the past and continue to move forward. I started rapping at the age of fourteen years old, due to me wanting a way to express myself without having to always go back and forth about my feelings, or even to truly express what’s on my mind. That’s the partial story of Raising Elayne.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s never been a smooth road honestly. One thing i’ve learned in my 15 and a half years of living is to always be grateful of what’s good in your life, instead of always focusing on the devastating parts. It’s gonna be an unfair life because life ain’t fair, but life is always what you make it out to be. With that advice, all the hardships i faced in my life didn’t last long because i didn’t allow them to.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
My love for making music came from my talent of writing. I always found peace in writing. It’s a more formative version of art. You can use and manipulate your words as to how you want them to sound. People always tell me i have a way with my words, and that’s certain. It’s due to the fact of me practicing my penmanship. However, I noticed what I put on paper would sound amazing verbally. I’m very well rounded and creative when it comes to rhyming. So i decided to put my pen and paper to the test and create what people call rap, but I label it as my art.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I can say as of right now that there is nothing surprising my team doesn’t know because i typically keep them in the loop of everything. I always feel comfortable and excited to share my wins with my team because they always support and uplift me when needed.
