Hi Tiara (“eli”), can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
As a Memphis Native, my focus was always on black enterprise and religious spiritual structure as these were important to my parents. While I took my own route, I still followed int heir foot steps in many ways. I value entertainment as I grew up as a model- runway, print, brand ambassador. These experiences led into my content creation where I’ve amassed a following of over 10.000 followers and subscribers on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
As an entrepreneur, I learned about the real estate investment industry and closed several deals my first year at 19 years old, the same year I gave birth to my son. I realized how important the industry is, going back to valuing black enterprise as both of my parents are entrepreneurs, so I decided to get serious about education of the topic after a business colleague suggested I start a Facebook group for it. After 7 years, the BDRE (Bird Dog Real Estate) brand has amassed over 20,000 followers and subscribers across Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. The website now hosts a video course, community membership, and my first published book!
Closing my life work together, I decided to veer into he spiritual space from my religious background, as my mother and paternal grandmother were both founding members of their churches under COGIC (Church of God in Christ). I always knew my relationship with God was important, but something was always missing. While my dad has a more Muslim background, he always shared with me and my siblings that there’s always more to life and the universe. I started going viral on social media, primarily YouTube on my Sovereign Empress channel, when I started sharing my spiritual journey and meeting people along the way in my vloggs. After a few years of gaining experience and knowledge, I decided to retire the YouTube channel and transition into sharing via blog. My new company Marine Liquidity Fiduciary Flow Private Equity & Research LLC (by BDRE) is a blog curated by Black Women for those who interact with us – schools, jobs, organizations in the community. My knowledge from real estate (the structure of society) and spirituality with religion (the REASON for the structure in society) help me to write essays to assist in the improvement of society as a whole, along with my writing team – other black women professionals. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Partnership. Partnership tended to be a struggle for me where we would never align properly for extended periods of time. I’ve had to learn myself more and learn how others are to learn about workflow and seasons.

Yes, I’m a huge risk taker that is also very calculated. There was no guarantee to success in anything I strived for – starting a business, building community with those who have a similar mindset to me. I always knew that even if I didn’t achieve the goal I was striving for, I can always learn for the experience of trying itself.
