Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Burton.
Hi Tiffany, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
WBFC is a firm founded on working closely with business owners serving as a thought partner by helping them start a business and stay successful in entrepreneurship.
As the owner, I noticed businesses typically close within 2 years. I wanted to change these statistics. Over the course of working with business owners for 15 years, it became quite normal seeing businesses close quickly.
The main reason I noticed they closed were proper finance knowledge, not pricing their products correctly, lack of marketing, and not having a business plan.
But most importantly, they did not hire an Executive Business Coach to help them along the way. I started the idea of wanting to be an Executive Business Coach after working as an Advertising Sales Rep for The Commercial Appeal back in 2006. Some years later, I had a client friend who needed help with their business. Mostly because they trusted my judgment.
After helping this partial customer for years, I became their personal business consultant. I had one client for years. After seeing the major results with this one client I decided to take this business venture more seriously by forming a corporation. As of now, WBFC has a growing portfolio of clients.
My firm offers one on one business coaching. We help create/review business plans, we teach business credit and business finance. WBFC’s motto is “We listen. You prosper. Your business grow.” There is no client too small or too big we cannot service. We are educated and trained to service all customers.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
This process has been pretty smooth because my background has always been working with Business customers. I already had the education and experience with business coaching prior to opening my firm.
This opportunity was presented to me by a client/friend before I decided to open the doors. I am certified in Finance and have a certification as an Executive Business Coach.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We are a firm that help and support business owners who are currently in business or interested in diving into entrepreneurship. We build a collaborative relationship with business owners to help them develop a strategic plan to grow their business.
We offer one on one business coaching sessions. Clients can choose from a basic package to an Advance package. We teach basic to advance QuickBooks training, we teach how to make profits along with how to break even, and we teach how to run a financial report for their business. We can review along with help new business owners with the Business plan template. We teach Business credit.
We work in any area of a business where a business is struggling to help get them back on track. Our motto: “We Listen, You Prosper, Your Business Grow.” I have a MBA. I have 15 years working with business customers. I am certified as an Executive Business Coach, and I am Certified in Finance. I have the education along with the experience to service all clients.
What does success mean to you?
My parents taught their children at a very age that success is about being the BEST. How do you become the BEST… Consistency.
I believe success is about giving your all in every aspect of your life. When you are consistent you are making a commitment to your own destiny. When you are consistent you are doing what’s required now to achieve a better outcome for your future.
Success is also about having drive and passion. I used my failures to motivate me to be successful. Successful people are motivated by their failures by work harder to put 100% of their time, and energy into the very thing they love which makes them successful.
