Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexis Turner.
Hi Alexis, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Every since I was a child, I was drawn to nature. I was fascinated by the variety of trees, bushes, flowers, and plants. I was always outside in the grass barefoot, studying insects, looking at the sky… It just felt right. As I continued growing up, it began making sense. My purpose was unfolding right before me. Learning Nutrition and Herbal Remedies became the center of my life.
Although I learned about these things, I didn’t start applying them until early 2015. Every year, I learned more and became healthier. By this time I was no longer a pre-diabetic and my blood pressure was great! This was due to nutrition, herbal remedies, and light exercise. Everything was going great until my husband and I noticed I wasn’t getting pregnant! At first, it wasn’t a big deal, but after two years, it became a concern.
In 2018, I was diagnosed with PCOS and was told it would be almost impossible to conceive. I was given two options, medication- birth control and Metformin to be exact or to see an Infertility Specialist. I declined both options and decided to take matters into my own hands! I learned how to read my lab results and noticed how imbalanced my hormones were. I also had alot of Vitamin and Mineral deficiencies.
I immediately started studying herbs that can help balance my hormones. This is when I also learned something that wasn’t talked about during this time: The hidden dangers in common household and hygiene products! Most products we use to wash out body, hair, and home contain endocrine disrupters!
I changed my lifestyle completely and less than ten months I conceived naturally. My husband and I had been trying to conceive for nearly five years. My journey has motivated me to help many women have normal menstrual cycles, regulate ovulation, lower A1c and so much more. This is why I offer natural and herbal products.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The journey was much easier before having TJ. That’s because I was able to move freely. I was able to take better care of myself. There are struggles along the way but it’s nothing I can’t overcome.
I have to remind myself that sometimes, I’m standing in my own way. I embrace the struggles and hardships knowing that it is building me. I need to go through them. I’m learning lessons.

I make handcrafted natural products for the body and home.

A lot of hygiene and household products contains chemicals that’s linked to cancer, respiratory issues, skin issues, endocrine disrupters and more.
After being diagnosed with PCOS in 2018, I was determined to spread the news on how using common products have a direct effect on our hormones. I noticed a lot of people only focused on nutrition with PCOS. I stand out because I talk about herbal remedies and expose harsh chemicals in products.

If you want to change your health for the better, it all starts with your mindset.
If you’re even thinking about it, that means you have the willpower to do it! Focus on that energy. Write affirmations, and speak affirmations. It may seem silly at first but the more you speak those affirmations, the more powerful you become.
