Today we’d like to introduce you to Devin Duncan.
Hi Devin, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My story was crafted in Mississippi. Being from a smaller area taught me how to dream beyond what was directly in front of me and how to create opportunities without waiting for permission. I have always had big ideas, but I also had to learn how to use what I had around me to make those ideas move.
I started building through digital platforms, social media, fashion, and content. What made my journey different is that I was able to take small-town dreams and push them across global digital spaces without always having to be the face of it. A lot of my work has been built behind the scenes through strategy, storytelling, clipping, branding, and understanding what makes people connect online.
Over time, I learned that you do not have to be in the biggest city to make an impact. You just have to understand culture, timing, consistency, and how to create content that travels. Through social media, I was able to reach audiences far beyond Mississippi and build across different channels, from fashion and lifestyle to entertainment, creators, artists, and streaming communities.
That experience shaped me into a digital marketer, media creator, and brand builder. I learned how to grow pages, support rollouts, capture moments, build campaigns, and help people show up online in a way that feels real. A lot of my journey has been about turning quiet work into visible results.
While attending Mississippi State University, I continued to develop my foundation through business, communication, fashion, leadership, and creative work. My degree in Interdisciplinary Studies reflects the way I have always moved. I have never wanted to be limited to one lane. My work lives between media, public relations, fashion, digital strategy, and culture.
Today, I am still based in Mississippi, but my work reaches far beyond where I started. I am proud that I was able to build a path that proves location does not limit vision. My story is about taking what was crafted in a small-town environment and using digital platforms to create global reach, real opportunities, and a larger purpose.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. I have had a lot of moments where I felt like I was finally getting close to the finish line, or close to where I thought I wanted to be. But every time I got closer, I realized I wanted more, or I realized my purpose was changing and growing.
I think that has been the biggest part of my journey. It is not really one finish line. It is a process that I have to keep adapting to every day. I am constantly learning more about myself, my work, and the type of impact I want to have.
There have been moments where things did not happen how I wanted, or I felt like I had to start over, but I am grateful for all of it. Every interaction, every opportunity, and even every setback has helped shape me.
So no, it has not been smooth, but I feel like it has all been necessary. I am still learning, still growing, and still figuring out how to make the vision bigger.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I would describe myself as a broad digital marketer, media creative, and overall vibe curator. A lot of what I do comes down to understanding a moment, capturing it the right way, and knowing how to turn it into content that people can feel.
I specialize in digital marketing, social media strategy, event coverage, creator support, brand storytelling, and content direction. I have worked across fashion, music, entertainment, streaming, and lifestyle spaces, so I have learned how to adapt my eye to different audiences and different types of brands.
I think I am known for being able to see the bigger picture while still paying attention to the small details. Whether I am capturing behind-the-scenes content, helping with a rollout, building a page, editing clips, or shaping the way something is presented online, I try to make sure the content feels natural and connected to the culture around it.
What I am most proud of is being able to build reach and opportunity from Mississippi without always having to be the face of the work. A lot of my impact has come from behind the scenes, and I take pride in knowing that my ideas, strategy, and creative direction can help something move further.
What sets me apart is that I do not look at digital marketing as just posting content. I look at it as storytelling, timing, energy, and community. I know how to capture the vibe, but I also know how to think about the purpose behind it. That balance is what makes my work different.
What’s next?
In the future, my plan is to elevate while also remaining teachable. I feel like I am in a season where I know the vision is getting bigger, but I also understand that I still have a lot to learn from the people and spaces around me.
I do not want to limit my future to a single title or lane. I want to keep growing in digital marketing, media, creative direction, fashion, brand building, and storytelling. At the same time, I want to keep being a student of the work. Every room I step into, I want to learn something, add value, and leave better than I came.
A lot of Atlanta creatives have inspired me because they show what it takes to build something real through creativity and consistency. People like Brandon Lafontant with American Dream Media, Max Jaden with MGM Productions, and @squablezz have shown me different sides of what it means to create, capture moments, build platforms, and move with purpose.
So, for me, the future is about growth, alignment, and readiness for wherever God takes me. I am applying pressure in the process, but I am also staying humble enough to keep learning. I want to keep expanding from Mississippi into bigger rooms while never forgetting the foundation that shaped me.
