Today we’d like to introduce you to Erica Fant
Hi Erica, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I joined Farmhouse eight years ago, At that time, I saw an opportunity to turn social media into something integral to brand strategy. Over time, I helped Farmhouse expand social media into an essential element of our clients’ brand strategy, developing campaigns that seamlessly blend strong visuals with thoughtful messaging. It’s been a journey of constant growth and creativity, where I’m always evolving our approach to meet and exceed client needs. My role now embodies both strategy and artistry, ensuring each project aligns perfectly with brand vision and engages audiences in a meaningful way.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t always been a smooth road. Social media is ever-evolving, and learning to adapt was a big adjustment at first. Managing a campaign often feels a bit like hosting a dinner party where you’re also the chef, the DJ, the photographer, and the one making sure no one’s drink runs dry Each element requires a unique kind of attention. But with time and experience, I was able to fine-tune my skills and approach, finding a balance that keeps campaigns fresh and on-brand, even as platforms and trends continue to change.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My work at Farmhouse revolves around creating social media campaigns that do more than just look good—they connect. I specialize in building campaigns that combine strategic messaging with high-quality visuals, from photography to videography and graphics, making each campaign feel fresh and engaging. One of my proudest achievements has been transforming social media into a major part of our agency’s offerings, positioning it as an essential piece of our clients’ brand strategies.
What truly sets me apart is my personal commitment to each brand I work with. I don’t just manage campaigns; I emotionally buy into my clients’ brands. This investment means I’m fully engaged in creating campaigns that resonate on a deeper level. It’s more than strategy—it’s about bringing each brand’s unique story to life with authenticity and heart, ensuring every campaign feels genuine and impactful.”. For me, a social media campaign is more than just clicking ‘publish’ and walking away. To truly connect with an audience, you need to stay engaged, which is why I refuse to use scheduling tools. I post manually to ensure the content is timely, relevant, and actively connected to the audience’s response. That direct engagement helps keep our messaging pertinent and impactful, fostering a stronger connection between our clients and their followers.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is to stay curious —there’s always more to learn, new ways to grow, and fresh perspectives to explore. Staying curious and adaptable has helped me keep campaigns innovative and relevant, even as trends change. And just as importantly, I’ve learned to have fun along the way! Social media is an ever-evolving field, and enjoying the process keeps my creativity alive and my approach fresh. Embracing each new challenge with a sense of adventure has been key to both my personal growth and the success of the work we do at Farmhouse.
