Today we’d like to introduce you to Greg Rubin.

Greg Rubin

Hi Greg, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, let’s briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
Life as a football player started when I was 5 years old. The Memphis Chargers little league football team gave me my first opportunity as a player. From age 5 to the age of 12, my development years and my passion for the game grew. After The Memphis Chargers, I played Football in Middle School (White Station Middle) and High School (White Station High). During my 9th grade year, I joined a 7-on-7 team (Pro Process Academy), also known as PPA. During this time as a player, I became more advanced in my skill set through training. I received many scholarship offers from different colleges and universities during high school. I am a proud member of The University of Memphis Football team.

Please talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned. Looking back, has it been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been a smooth road, but some struggles also came with it, such as trying to find a balance between school and football, staying healthy, and more.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might need to be more familiar with what you do, what can you tell them about what you do?
I am currently a college athlete and student at The University of Memphis. My responsibility as an athlete is to effectively execute plays for the position assigned to me and always lead by example. As a student-athlete, I am responsible for ensuring I succeed academically by producing good grades to remain eligible for playing football. As of now, I specialize in the execution of Defensive Back skills and Academic stamina. I am mostly known for being a student-athlete throughout the city of Memphis. I am mostly proud of my work ethic and discipline. Being disciplined and working hard is how I accomplished my goals as a student-athlete. What sets me apart from others is that “I will not be outworked.”

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I have learned along my journey is to believe what people do, not what they say. Actions speak louder than words.
