Today we’d like to introduce you to Jazsmin (Jasmine) Sharell
Hi Jazsmin, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hi there!
I’m Jazsmin but, affectionately I answer to Jass or creatively, Jasmine Sharell. I’m a Houston, Texas native who considers herself a multi-hyphenate. I graduated from Prairie View A&M University, joined the greatest organization, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. with my sisters whom I adore. Lastly, life has brought me through some interesting scenarios but I’m blessed. I’ve been dabbling in the realm of content creation for about 5 years- however, I wasn’t taking it seriously as I am this year in 2025.
I felt as if I was struggling with imposter syndrome- but realizing I was trying to personify myself into something or someone I wasn’t just didn’t work. Now, I’m here aiming for the stars shamelessly and being my truest silly self.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nothing in this life comes easy; if anything it comes a bit too fast. In retrospect, my struggles included a decapitating mental health crisis, grieving those who had passed and are still living, Sexual Assault , heartbreak and again, imposter syndrome. Most of these challenges left me in a dark place from the age of nineteen but, within chaos I tend to find the beauty in everything subconsciously.
While examining the world around me, I learned the skill of makeup from some friends of mine during my tenure at Wiley University (College). whether they knew or not, makeup saved my life, when I finally get on, lol a portion of those proceeds must go to them.
Through out all of the challenges I experienced, it’s safe to say that a phoenix always rises from the ashes?

As stated in the previous questions, I am a multi-hyphenate content creator. I’ve created my own websites, graphic designs, becoming skillful in softwares. Also, I am a co-host for DirtyMinds on AfroVibesTv.
Though I know that I can be expected to do numerous amounts of things, my niches fall in beauty, lifestyle and leaning Into the tech side. (lightheartedly). I’m making my digital footprint be known for my rawness, goofiness and all around charming appeal.
I’m most proud of my commitment to being again shameless and limitless to my abilities of being who I am, now more than ever. Just being who I am and walking in that walk of confidence is what I’m enjoying most because I fought for this moment of self-validation.
What sets me apart from others is truly the mystery of Jass, I have so many layers that you’ll truly never know what you’re going to get.
Any big plans?
My plans in the future is only just allowing God to spearhead what he needs me to do while being a hardworking servant. Of course alongside with following my passions and dreams, I plan on being an active advocate to provide and donate to those through philanthropy.
