Hi Marlon, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I mean I really don’t know where to start. I’d say my life is a perfect example of trials and tribulations. I will say that one of the main reasons for me being where I’m at today is because of God. You won’t make it nowhere in life without him. You don’t have to be a person that goes to church every Sunday or reading the Bible 24/7, as long as your faith is true and strong with God, then he will give you the guidance and bless you on the way
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No path is ever easy is it lol. I’ve faced many challenges that brought me to this point. I have been homeless on numerous occasions, I was abused as a child and experienced quite a few family situations where I had to pitch in due to health reasons
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m an upcoming rap artist by the name of AceDon streaming on all platforms. I’d say I’m known for my versatility of flows and beat selections. I’m most proud of chasing my dream and seeing it turn into a reality because if you asked me 5 years ago would I be doing music, I would’ve said no. What sets me apart is my humbleness and how poised I am. I try to take my creativity to a new level every time I record a track
How do you think about happiness?
Of course money makes me happy lol, but I’m at my happiest when myself and the people I love are taken care of. I’m very much family oriented and just have a big heart in general. Fame is not something I chase, but I understand that it comes with my profession.
