Hi Rae, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hi! I am Rae Hightower, business owner of “Rae Hightower Makeup Artistry!” I got into makeup after completing beauty school in 2014 at Regency Beauty Institute. Since then, I have blossomed into the talented artist you see today!
I have worked with many influencers in the industry such as ‘Love & Hip Hop New York star, Yandy Smith, fashion designer, ‘Yi Minx’, and gospel singer, Le’Andria Johnson.
I also travel working with companies for fashion shows, events, hair shows, photoshoots, and more. I am very passionate about the art it takes to do makeup. I take my craft and business very seriously-making sure every client I work with has a great experience and leaves looking and feeling their best!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
For the most part, everything has been smooth throughout the years I can say. I’ve only had a couple of bumps in the road but you have to push through. Don’t let it stop you and come back ten times harder!

I am a professional traveling makeup specializing in makeup services for photoshoots, video shoots, weddings, and other special events. I’m a versatile artist, I can do soft looks, editorial looks and more! I always strive in providing great customer service!
