Today we’d like to introduce you to Leonel Moya
Hi Leonel, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Since adolescence I had an interest in aesthetics, my first incursions in the wardrobe was customizing sneakers, then sewing pants by hand and due to a love breakup I changed the course of my life and in the year 2023 I started to design clothes on my own, throughout these two years I have developed a lot in a self-taught way.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
In general it has been wonderful, I have had a very good reception from the people but I have had several problems. From designing clothes weekly I have had creative wear and tear, crisis of uncertainty and constantly change my way of working and creating content.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I design clothes and develop my own identity, which is one of my objects today. I have managed to create garments with unusual materials that have caught people’s attention and helped me to differentiate myself from clothing brands or people who make clothes. I think what I am most proud of is to have started designing and working on my own because I started at a time when I was very sad and depressed.

Messages of support will always be a motivator to continue, I work a lot in a solitary way but whenever there is someone who wants to create I will be willing to listen to their idea, and I think the best way to support me is to invite me to events or social gatherings related to this area because getting out of my workplace and enjoy myself makes me very happy.
