Today we’d like to introduce you to Jerica Jones.
Hi Jerica, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
In February of 2022, I was laid off from my job for 4 years. At that moment, I decided to never give another employer the opportunity to take my income away or set limits on what days I can work and how much money I can make in a day.
My cleaning service came about because it’s something that I’m good at (cleaning), the start-up cost was low, and I wanted to be able to do something that generated money, but also put me in places where. I can be a positive influence daily. God’s grace and mercy along with my determination & drive got me to where I am today.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
In the beginning, just like a road with speed bumps, I found myself doing the speed limit, but as I approached an obstacle (speed bump) it slowed me down. Scheduling and getting clients to book were my only struggles, but thanks to the man up above, I no longer have these issues.

B YOU Cleaning Service’s name was inspired by my hero, my grandmother, Hattie “B.” Williams. She instilled the foundation that lies within me. She was my greatest inspiration. That is why I chose the letter B instead of the word “be”. I want to inspire others to become the best versions of themselves (B YOU).
I am the owner of B YOU Cleaning Services. We specialize in residential & commercial cleaning.
My professionalism, personality, and genuine attitude set me apart from others. I have a purpose and it shows when I provide services to my clients. My assignment is much bigger than cleaning your home. I assist with cleaning your spirit and soul as well. Some people just need that one person to give them good advice, remind them of God’s goodness, and reassure them that God has everything worked out for them.
I also have an outreach ministry, Jerica’s Street Outreach. I provide care packages & food packages to homeless people throughout the city of Memphis. I’m addition, I make scents such as candles, wax melts, tea lights & room spray.
Brand-wise, I am most proud to be able to say that we provide outstanding services and great customer service is guaranteed.
We offer cleaning services for residential and commercial properties. All services are affordable. B YOU Cleaning Services travels to Mississippi and Arkansas.
What would you say has been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Put God first and always remain humble.
