Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelsey Braswell.

Kelsey, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
GodMade Essentials basically fell into my lap. One day, I decided I wanted to start a cosmetic/skincare business that helped promote healthy and beautiful skin the natural way.

GodMade was just the perfect name to give my brand since all of my products are made with natural organic ingredients from earth that “the most high” created for us.

Ultimately, I would love to transform my small business into a lifestyle brand full of things people typically use on an everyday basis such as soap, candles, body care, home decor, clothes, and other girly things.

I’ve done my research and realized that right now I want to focus on my skincare line. I feel in love learning about skin and ways to heal and nurture it without harsh chemicals. I have enjoyed creating a skincare brand that contains all-natural herbs, oils, and other great ingredients to promote healthy skin and help fight off skin disorders for women and men.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This definitely hasn’t been a smooth road for me. Entrepreneurship is tough in every stage of growth. My brand is in the beginner stage and there is so much to do and learn.

Currently, as a one-woman show with the help of my husband, I am responsible for every process to include photography, marketing, sales, packaging, and keeping up with inventory. The biggest struggle I’ve found is brand awareness and making all orders handmade.

It’s hard getting your name out there so that people know you exist and know what your products are capable of. It’s definitely been hard out here for ya girl but I got faith my business will blossom, Lord willing.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
GodMade Essentials is a skincare brand that offers all-natural and organic products. My all-natural “Acne Kit” is a TOP SELLER. It’s known for clearing up dark spots, hyperpigmentation, and overall acne all with turmeric and my secret essential oil blend.

What I’m most proud of brand-wise is that health is wealth. I love being able to share my knowledge of natural skincare with people that might not have heard of it. I also love creating a formula from scratch and seeing it work on all skin types. Ah, I love it!

What you put onto your skin is very important. If you can’t read all the ingredients and understand what they are don’t apply them to your skin. Simple!

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I’m very outgoing and creative. I love to paint, sing, work out and overall just be in great spirits. I also love being soft, smooth, and having clear skin. Thanks to GodMade Essentials.
