I always had an interest in taking photos but I never thought it could be a career. It has never been a smooth road. I think that being in business has all of its own challenges. After looking back on the past, one of my biggest mistakes has been trying to grow to fast. I am a dual trained pediatric dentist and orthodontist. There are approximately 150 dual trained individuals globally and less than 50 practicing both professions. We treat children and adults for both cleanings and orthodontics. We have had several generations of families come through the practice. It is nice to be your own referral source. It was a small investment with a great ROI. Fast forward two years, my mother transitioned to the other side and left an inheritance. She believed in my vision for business. With that being said, I invested all of my inheritance on printing equipment needed to begin my graphics design business and grew from there. I purchased a large format printer and a large format vinyl cutter. I was advised not to pay cash for them, but I did and I do not regret it at all.
